Christmas at the Garfield Family Dollhouse!

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from the Garfield Family! Dad Steve, mom Stephanie, oldest son Seth, oldest daughter Sierra, youngest daughter Savannah and youngest son Sam. And, don't forget dog Baxter. And, the cat is here somewhere!

Look at all of those presents! The tree even lights up!

My "New" Marx Metal Dollhouse

I bought this metal Marx dollhouse locally from a woman for $35. It comes with some plastic furniture. It is in really good condition, some minor scratches. I have always wanted a metal dollhouse. If anyone knows what year this dollhouse came out, let me know. I think it is from 1957.

Metal House Tins

I bought these house tins at Walmart at Christmas time. They were sold with cookies in them. I had to buy all four designs and colors!

Miniature Crock Pots

I made these miniature crock pots from a plumbing part found at Home Depot,
a small suction cup, black gloss paint, spray paint, tiny black bead, black duct tape
and red neon paint. You could add a cord if you wanted to.

Mini Recycle Bin Keychain

My mother got this freebie for me about a year ago at a local festival.
The recycle bin keychain is a perfect size to be used in a dollhouse!
Just cut off the key ring! It is a promotional item used by Waste Management,
our trash removal company.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! Here in Ohio, we have had very cold temperatures and already had snow on the ground, so it felt like Christmas. Today, I went out to do some Christmas shopping with my mother and husband, and found some neat miniature finds that I will be posting pictures of very soon!

Dura Craft Farmhouse Finally Sold!

The Dura Craft Farmhouse was my first kit I built in the early 2000's when I got back into miniatures. My husband helped me build it. I was running out of room, so I decieded
a couple of years ago that I would sell this huge 8+ room house decorated in 1880's Victorian decor. After unsuccessfully trying to sell it through Ebay and Craig's List, I took it to a local consignment shop called "The Birdcage" and after 6 months there it just sold! I only made $175.00 after asking much more on Ebay and Craig's List, but I realized if I really wanted to sell it, I would have to come down on the price, so I did. I am just glad that will give enjoyment to someone else.
